Really struggled with this one. It started off as a tribute to John Berryman, believe it or not, but went off in its own direction.

I must add that I have no problem with confessional poets and the noble art of confessional poetry. Now go and say two Our Fathers and three Hail Marys.

I love this one best so far. Of course I do.
And most of all I love the qualification of the Randian tenet “The universe is indifferent”.

maybe it’s because I don’t find that particular hypothesis to pull it’s wait and am therefore compelled to really it in a slightly sarcy manner

*edit I have no idea what “pull it’s wait”, but editing it would be Stalinesque!

** I’m gathering “compelled to really it” actually meant “compelled to relay it”. It might be forgiveable if I’d written this on a phone, but I didn’t.
